the mp3 playback system is very simple: it imports the file to the buffer, and then the groove~ plays it. But sometimes there are problems with the file getting played: it shows the waveform but does nothing, as You write. please maybe test it with another mp3 file, and response me if it works or not!

I don’t tested it on 5.1, it’s a holistic version for me, so I can’t say if the version of max matters?
